Until the figures are in the stores, Joe Attacktix and Web of Webhead will be previewing the new Star Wars Attacktix Series 4 and Transformers Attacktix Series 1.

Today's preview is the third day of "Imperial March", which will run through tomorrow, culminating with the new Darth Vader on Friday…:

AT-ST Driver

AT-ST Driver

  • Attack: Small Missile
  • Defense: Small Base
  • Points: 10
  • Attacktix Class: Trooper
  • Star Wars Class: Empire
  • Base Speed: 4
  • Special Power: Attackback – Leader
  • Number: (SW/06)4)

Here we have the "chicken walker" driver.  A fairly straight forward 10 point Trooper fig, he has an above average Attackback – Leader power that sets him slightly apart from most 10 point trooper figs.  The nice thing about figures that have specials that go by Attacktix Class, they are candidates for strong cross-over teams, it looks like there will be a strong Leader or two over on the Transformers side…

That's it for today.  Make sure to check the Joe Attacktix site for the Transformers review.  Check back here tomorrow for the conclusion of the Imperial March. – B

i like this trooper, i can think of several squads where he will come in really handy.

I really think this will be a nice crossover figure, like you said, for Transformers. I always love the troop builders!

I am not sure I’ll be crossing him over, but I am still happy with this trooper because he’ll provide a decent option for almost any SW faction that a person wants to play.. so long as they have a leader(s) in the group. 😀 He reminds me a bit of a “colorless” MTG card.

That’s a good way to look at it, somewhere between an “artifact” in Magic and a wildcard in HeroClix maybe.

It’s kind of a unique aspect to the game, and allows for some interesting intermixing down the road I bet.
