This week Captain America returned to the comics.

It’s Bucky.  But I think most of us knew that going in.

Anyway, what I really like about this series is how, even though stuff is going on “outside” the book hyping these “big events”, inside, storywise, they are being treated as just part of a coherent whole story.  Nothing feels tacked on or gratuitous.

One other issue, someone over at Wizard commented that they always liked how DC had the traditional hero roles passed down from generation to generation.  Except, now DC is retconning too…and that really never happened there either.  Hal Jordan is back.  How far behind is Barry Allen you think, with the Final Crisis on the horizon?
