Well, the Giants were underdogs, moreso in the publics eye than in the Vegas books I’m sure, but underdogs nonetheless. However, I think the credit goes to the Defensive line…it felt like they always got to Brady one second before he would have unleashed another perfect pass, and often planted him on his keister. Not something he is used to (during games at least).
All in all an exciting game, even if not high scoring like many predicted. Defense wins championships and all that.
And how about those commercials? Well, some of them stunk. BUT…the Wanted and Iron Man previews looked great. All of the Terminator tie-in’s were well done. And I really liked the “Bud Light gives you super powers” ones…the guy breathing fire and the other one flying. But the best ones of the night were of the baby buying stock…”I rented a clown…but I underestimated the creep factor.” Perfect.
