Beginning this week, Joe Attacktix, Master Attacktix, and Web of Webhead will be previewing the forthcoming Marvel Attacktix set. We’ll be covering a figure a day each week day until we have covered all of the figures.
Happy Halloween! Today’s preview is particularly apt for the holiday…a deranged maniac that throws explosive pumpkin bombs…

This Monday, October 30th, will be the first day of Marvel Attacktix previews. We will be previewing one figure a day each week day. The reviews will alternate between joeattacktix.com and webofwebhead, and will also show up on the Master Attacktix site. Check back Monday for more details. – Brett

This past weekend, I received my Marvel Attacktix samples…needless to say, I was a little more than excited.
“That’s great for you, but what does that have to do with me?” you might be thinking…
Ah, but that’s where the Tournament of Attacktix (ToA) this weekend in Utica/Detroit comes in…I’ll be there with the Marvel figs on display. So if you are up for a full day of ‘Tix and want to get a look at the new Marvel stuff…stop on out and say hi.

Phew…
What a week…I got a flu shot last Thursday, and I’ve felt like I’ve been hit by a truck since then. On top of that, my daughter has been fighting various colds and ear infections for the past 3 weeks, so lots of lost sleep. Plus, the day job has been crazy busy.
BUT…today I’m getting caught up. Not only have I finally joined the 1990’s and gotten high speed internet at home, I’ve also got some new Attacktix stuff to talk about…
BotCon 2006 has first look at G1 Attacktix October 2, 2006

This past weekend was BotCon in Lexington, KY. I wasn’t able to make it to this year’s big Transformers con, but I’ve been reading the coverage everywhere I can find it. Not only was there a tournament using the new Intergalactic Showdown figures (Star Wars and Transformers universes), but it looks like Hasbro had a sneak preview from the next Transformers set. Click that link to see pics of the G1 Optimus Prime and Megatron, as well as Arcee, Strongarm, and Galvatron.
G1 Transformers are what I grew up with back in the 80’s, so having a chance to work on these new figures was a real dream come true…now I just can’t wait to have a chance to play with them.
